Ecuador 14 day trek

14 day trekking expedition to Ecuador

Ecuador flag

Fly into Quito. Teams will spend the first three nights in this beautifully preserved colonial city acclimatizing to the high altitude, exploring the attractions of the city (Mitad del Mundo marks the equator), admiring the awesome Andean mountains and peaks all around, and trekking up one of the nearby peaks to prepare you for the main trek.

Once acclimatized to the altitude of the highlands teams can undertake an exciting and challenging trek. Main trek options can be around Cotapaxi or Chimborazo volcanoes, the famous Quilotoa Loop, or the spectacular Intag Valley in the northern Andes. After the main trek, the team can head down to Tena in the Amazon basin for some well deserved rest and relaxation.

From Tena take in the sights and sounds of the jungle and enjoy a day's white water rafting before heading back to Quito for your flight home.
