Introduction to the Bolivia expedition

Bolivia flag
With the highest capital city in the world, La Paz, at 3,632m, its no wonder Bolivia has some world class altitude trekking opportunities. The Bolivian Andean range has a number of mountain peaks over 6,000m, but Bolivia also offers contrasting jungle lowlands in the Amazon Basin, expansive Salt Flats and the diverse Amboro National Park.

These distinctly differing environments make Bolivia an excellent destination for an expedition team wanting to experience the challenge of trekking at altitude but also want to explore the humid jungle and immerse themselves in some of the vibrant indigenous culture.
