Introduction to the Peru North expedition

Peru flag
Vast Amazonian rainforest, stunning Andean Mountains and a narrow strip of coast, Peru has it all.

Peru has the largest indigenous population of all the countries in South America. The Quechua and Aymara tribes are the largest tribes and in more remote areas, teams will have the chance to experience the community culture. Peru has three main environments: the vast Amazonian lowlands, the Andes Mountains and a narrow strip of coastal plain which runs down the west of the country. Teams are likely to experience all three of these environments on this exciting expedition.
