A World Challenge expedition is not a typical educational tour or school trip. Our aim is to stretch minds and legs. Teachers and students will embark on a developmental journey that starts long before stepping on a plane. Founded in 1987, and part of the world’s largest travel company TUI Travel PLC, no other company comes close to organizing as many developmental overseas expeditions for high schools as World Challenge. Our products
1-2 week standard expeditions...
Our 8, 10 or 14 day expeditions have been developed by popular demand! Our shorter durations include a simplified pre-expedition program with all the in-country excitement of our longer expeditions, making World Challenge accessible to more schools, teachers and students.
3-4 week extended expeditions...
Spend 21 to 28 days in a developing world country! Our longer expeditions allow teams to become fully engaged in the planning process. From researching their destination and planning their itinerary to fundraising and participating in a training expedition, a journey of a lifetime begins.
Independent Expeditions...
If your school isn’t planning an expedition, we’ve still got you covered. We have some dedicated destinations and departure dates just for individuals. You will join a team of like-minded adventure-seekers and still benefit from the same level of service and support.
