Community project expeditions
Typically each World Challenge expedition has a 3 to 10-day community or environmental project built into the itinerary which makes up the project phase of the expedition.We have a number of expeditions that focus on the project phase where the expedition team will benefit the local community. These project-based expeditions offer the amazing opportunity of participating in a completely different way of life; a truly rewarding experience!

Our Planning team develop sustainable projects that will continue to benefit the local communities long after the students have left. Our Planning Managers liaise with local contacts and aim to find placements which meet the needs of the community and the goals of the team.
