Borneo is located in the South China Sea, and is well known for its orangutan populations found in the dense rainforest that covers the island. A true jungle adventure, the Borneo expedition offers the opportunity to explore a number of National Parks. The team will also be accompanied by native guides who will teach them bush-craft skills to help them master the wilderness.
Trekking in Borneo brings students through limestone caves which contain archeological treasures of the earliest humans in Southeast Asia. They will also hike through the rainforests of Lambir Hills National Park with its beautiful waterfalls.

To get closer to the local people and environment, teams will complete a community or conservation project during their expedition. These experiences vary based on the needs of the community but all will give students the opportunity to learn more about the lifestyle and culture of this exciting island!

Borneo is suited for those who are seeking more adventurous trekking and strenuous but rewarding project work. Not a destination for the faint hearted, the Borneo expedition is an adventure in the truest sense of the word.
