14 day trekking expedition to Costa Rica

Costa Rica flag

Fly into Costa Rica where you'll have a number of options for an exciting trekking adventure! First the team can undertake an acclimatization trek, with shorter day walks as a warm up, and then move on to a main trek.
Acclimatization trekking options include the misty Monteverde Cloudforest Reserve and spectacular nearby Arenal Volcano, the dramatic but seldom visited volcanic landscape of Rincon de la Vieja, with it's bubbling mud pots, waterfalls and hot springs, or a challenging 3 day trek across the Continental Divide from the highlands all the way down to the Pacific Coast.

For a longer main trek teams can climb Cerro Ena or head to the beautiful rainforest fringed beaches of the Osa Peninsula. Depending on where you trek there will be a day for some other activities too - whether white water rafting, zip-lining, or just chilling on the beach - the perfect end to your Costa Rican adventure!
