Sri Lanka is a fertile and tropical island dominated by palm fringed beaches, steamy jungles, tea plantations and rolling moorland.
Many of the schools in Sri Lanka have very basic facilities and expedition teams can make a real difference to the community through their work. Previous teams have helped by creating playgrounds, painting furniture and buildings or improving other basic facilities in local schools. |
