Morocco is a challenging and rewarding destination. It has a bustling culture, vast open spaces and snow-capped mountains, making it an ideal place for an expedition. It offers the jagged peaks of the High Atlas Mountains, the unique rock formations in the Dades and Todra Gorge, the remote moonscape of Jebel Sahro and welcoming Berber villages linked by mule tracks. For a real challenge, teams can ascend Mt.Toubkal, Morocco's highest peak.
Teams have a fantastic opportunity to see the landscape from a different vantage point as they travel at a sedate pace across the Sahara desert on the back of a camel, journeying back to Marrakech before nightfall. After dusk teams can visit the lively main square, where they can see the snake charmers, storytellers and explore the labyrinth of souks. |
