Fly into Lima. The team will connect with a flight up to Cusco - a beautiful and historic Andean city, once the capital of the Inca Empire. From here the team will undertake a rewarding service project in an indigenous highland community around Cusco or Puno.
Past teams have constructed medical clinics, renovated schools, taught English, or have built bathroom stalls. Since the team's project site will be based near either Cusco or Puno, free time can be used to explore the magical lost city of Machu Picchu - as must see while in Peru! Teams also won't want to miss a visit to Lake Titicaca and it's famous reed islands.
The team will make their way back to Lima and depart for home.
Day 1 - Depart US, arrive Lima
Day 2 - Depart Lima, arrive Cusco
Day 3 - Explore Cusco
Day 4 - Machu Picchu
Day 5 - Head to service project (either around Cusco or around Puno)
Day 6 - Service project
Day 7 - Service project
Day 8 - Service project
Day 9 - Service project
Day 10 - Service project
Day 11 - Head to Puno
Day 12 - R&R around Puno - Lake Titicaca
Day 13 - Depart Juliaca (Puno) arrive Lima
Day 14 - Depart for home
