Volunteer project work in Ghana
Teams will spend between six to eight days on their project, depending on the length of their expedition. This will allow them to integrate with the local community and learn all about Ghanaian culture. Projects are likely to involve construction and renovation tasks, or conservation work involving the local wildlife or endangered species. Teams might be building classrooms, painting or doing building work on an existing school. There will also be an opportunity for teams to have fun with the children by organizing sports and lessons. Project Ghana is an ideal expedition for those wanting to make a difference and participate in valuable work that will enhance a community.

Trekking options in Ghana
Depending on time, there are a number of trekking options lasting between one and two days that can be added to the expedition. Teams could trek through the beautiful Aburi countryside, an hour from the capital of Accra, or experience the canopy walkway of Kakum National Park near Cape Coast.

Rest and relaxation in Ghana
Where teams spend their rest and relaxation time depends on the location of their project. Teams could spend time relaxing on the tropical coast or visiting one of the turtle hatcheries. No visit to Ghana would be complete without a visit to one of the infamous European forts and castles dating back to the 15th century that are dotted along the coastline.
