The expedition program
A World Challenge program can take anywhere from 10 to 20 months and culminates in an expedition to the developing world. Our expeditions are more than just an educational tour. As a Challenger, your son or daughter will complete a powerful personal journey guided and delivered by World Challenge staff and their teacher.In choosing to join a World Challenge expedition, students are not just signing up for an amazing trip. Every student will be an important member of the team, creating a once-in-a-life-time journey with their friends. As a team member, your son or daughter will design their own unique itinerary according to what the team wants to get out of the expedition. While on expedition, the students will rotate through various leadership roles and manage many of the day-to-day logistics of their adventure. Of course, the team will also be supported by experienced guides and the most up-to-date safety technologies available. They will spend the months before departure getting to know their teammates, planning their itinerary, and earning funds towards their expedition.
