The Build up phase (or pre-expedition program) is both developmental and fun...
..this is your child’s expedition after all! During this time students will take ownership of the expedition by researching their destination, fundraising to pay their fees and preparing students for the emotional and physical challenge you are taking on.Motivation and Training
World Challenge Program Facilitators will come to the school to deliver itinerary planning and fundraising advice. They also will get students trained up during a training workshop (for standard expeditions) or meet the team at their weekend Overseas Training Expedition (OTE) required for all extended expedition programs.
Money Management Program
Students will work through a step by step program designed to help them earn funds towards their expedition and learn financial skills. We will provide the resources to give students the best opportunities to earn money and the confidence to help them succeed.
Resources
Familes have access to the team’s personal expedition website ‘My World Challenge’ which is constantly updated with news, reminders, activities and facts to help students prepare and stay on task for their expedition.
