Fly into Panama City. Teams will then travel by bus up to David - the gateway to Panama's misty Chiriqui highlands - and from here up to the pretty mountain town of Boquete in the heart of the coffee growing highlands.
Boquete is your base for an exciting rafting excursion on the Chiriqui river, some warm up treks (including the beautiful Sendero Los Quetzales) before your ascent of Volcan Baru. At 3475m this is the highest peak in Panama and one of the few places in the world from which you can see both the Pacific and Caribbean!
Day 1 - Depart US, arrive Panama City
Day 2 - Travel by bus to Boquete
Day 3 - White water rafting
Day 4 - Acclimatization trek: Sendero Los Quetzales, then on to Las Nubes
Day 5 - Acclimatization trek from Las Nubes
Day 6 - Volcan Baru trek
Day 7 - Volcan Baru trek, return to Boquete
Day 8 - Travel by bus to Panama City
Day 9 - R&R around Panama City
Day 10 - Depart Panama City, arrive US
