Project
The Project Uganda expedition allows teams to make a difference within a community. Teams will spend around ten days working on a project where they’ll become immersed in the Ugandan culture. Generally teams will camp within the school where they are working. The project work will involve construction and renovation at a number of extremely poor primary and secondary schools. Teams might be building classrooms, painting or doing building work on an existing school. There will also be an opportunity for teams to have fun with the children by organizing sports and lessons.

Trekking options
During the expedition, teams will have the chance to complete one or two short treks. Teams can visit one of the many lakes in south-west Uganda where there are various options for day walks through the savannah, acacia woodland and wetland habitats. Alternatively they may choose to complete the two day Buwata community trail, based in the foothills of the Ruwenzori Mountain range.

Rest and relaxation
There are rest and relaxation opportunities throughout the expedition. In the Queen Elizabeth National Park teams can go on game walks and spot the local wildlife. White water rafting at the source of the river Nile (at an additional cost) offers an adrenaline fueled activity. Teams may decide to finish their expedition on the beaches of Lake Victoria or on one of the islands in the lake.
