Peru - North
Introduction to the Peru North expedition
Escape the typical tourist trail in a destination that has everything! Peru has three contrasting environments: the vast Amazonian lowlands, the high Andes mountains and a narrow strip of Pacific coastal plain stretching down the west of the country. Each of these three environments has its own specific climate and conditions and during your expedition, you are likely to experience the all, from the heat and humidity of the steamy Amazonian jungle to chilly temperatures high up the Andes.
During your rest and relaxation phase, you’ll have the chance to visit fascinating cultural sites including ancient ruins and colorful markets. There are opportunities for white-water rafting, relaxing on one of Peru’s beautiful beaches. |
