Flying in to Managua you will head to one of Nicaragua's beautiful colonial towns: Leon or Granada. After a day taking in historic atmosphere and great markets, you will begin a rewarding service project. This could be helping out at a school or kindergarten around Leon, Granada, Ometepe Island or Rivas, or between July and December you could assist with vital turtle conservation projects on the Pacific.
At the end of your project enjoy a day back in Leon or Granada, taking in historic atmosphere and great markets, or else head to San Juan del Sur on the Pacific Coast for some R&R.
Day 1 - Depart US, arrive Managua, head to Leon or Granada
Day 2 - Service project (N.B. it might be possible to split the project between community and conservation work)
Day 3 - Service project
Day 4 - Service project
Day 5 - Service project
Day 6 - Service project
Day 7 - Service project
Day 8 - Service project
Day 9 - Service project
Day 10 - Finish service project, head back to Leon or Granada
Day 11 - Head to R&R destination
Day 12 - R&R
Day 13 - R&R, back to Leon or Granada
Day 14 - Depart Managua, arrive US
