Flying in to Managua you will head to one of Nicaragua's beautiful colonial towns: Leon or Granada. Leon is your springboard for hiking in the dramatic Maribios volcano chain, and from Granada you can jump on a boat across Lake Nicaragua to explore the mythical island of Ometepe, with it's twin volcanic cones and spectacular forests and waterfalls. You will be able to explore both of these wonderful area on your expedition, offering fantastically contrasting treks and a great diversity of landscape.
At the end of your expedition enjoy a day back in Leon or Granada, taking in historic atmosphere and great markets, or else head to San Juan del Sur on the Pacific Coast for some R&R.

Day 2 - Ometepe Island
Day 3 - Ometepe Island
Day 4 - Ometepe Island
Day 5 - Granada
Day 6 - Leon
Day 7 - Maribios volcanoes
Day 8 - Maribios volcanoes
Day 9 - Maribios volcanoes
Day 10 - Maribios volcanoes
Day 11 - Head to R&R destination
Day 12 - R&R
Day 13 - R&R, back to Leon or Granada
Day 14 - Depart Managua, arrive US
