Fly into Quito. Teams will then head off to take part in a valuable service project. Service projects are tremendously varied. Past teams have renovated schools, assisted in eco-tourism initiatives (educational medicinal plant trails), helped out on community coffee plantations, built playgrounds and soccer fields, developed organic fruit and vegetable gardens for communities, or organized sports competitions for the local children.
No matter what the task at hand is, teams will have an enormous opportunity to live as locals and be immersed in their daily culture. Depending on the project site, there may be the opportunity to go white water rafting!
Finally head back to Quito for the flight home.
Day 1 - Depart US, arrive Quito
Day 2 - Head to service project
Day 3 - Service project
Day 4 - Service project
Day 5 - Service project
Day 6 - Service project
Day 7 - Service project
Day 8 - R&R - white water rafting and/or visits to local markets (dependant on project location)
Day 9 - R&R, then return to Quito
Day 10 - Depart Quito, arrive US
