Expedition Training Day
Our Expedition Training Day (ETD) is a one day interactive conference to prepare teachers and Expedition Leaders for their upcoming expeditions. This workshop is held in the Boston area and it is required for all teachers and Expedition Leaders to attend prior to departing on their expedition.The training is also designed to review basic emergency medical procedures including contacting our 24X7 Operations Center in the UK and to reiterate the responsible travel practices that World Challenge adheres to.
The ETD is designed to bring teachers and Expedition Leaders together with World Challenge global staff to review the final details of their itinerary and to discuss what can be expected once on expedition. It is a chance for the adult leadership team to also discuss the team dynamics as well as take advantage of the expert expedition advice from our international expedition planning team.
You will meet other teachers who are traveling with World Challenge and like our expeditions; we always plan for some fun as well!
